Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION # <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION RATIFYING AN APPOINTMENT TO THE <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY BOARD <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Environmental Policy Board was created in early 2005 and a <br />recruitment process was conducted at that time to fill the seven seats on the board; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a recruitment process has been completed and ten aPplicants have <br />been interviewed and selected to fill these vacancies; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 16, 2005 Mr. Steve Friese resigned from his seat on the <br />EPB. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the <br />Personnel Committee to appoint John Freeburg to the two year partial term <br />vacated by Steve Friese on May 16, 2005. <br /> <br />Thc motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 24th day of May 2005. <br /> <br />-135- <br /> <br /> <br />
