Councilrnember · introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-06-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 1sT PARTIAL PAYMENT TO W.B. MILLER INC. PROJECT #05-22 RTC CITY PHASE II ROADWAYS WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council authorized design of City Phase II Street, Storm Sewer, Watermain and Sanitary Sewer Improvement in Ramsey Town Center on November 9th, 2004; and WHEREAS, on May 10, 2005, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #05-05-133 awarding the contract for IP//05-22 to W.B. Miller Inc. in the amount of $562,096.80.00; and WHEREAS, Assistant Public Works Director/Principal En~neer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends 1st partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. in the amount of $171,141.55. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY couNCIL OF THE CITY OF I~\MSEY, ANOI~ COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to W.B. Miller Inc. for Improvement Project #05-22 in the amount of $171,141.55. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the MayOr or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of June 28, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
