CounciImember __ introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-06-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING 3m) PARTIAL PAYMENT TO CONSTRUCTION FOR I.P. #04-30 RHINESTONE STREET BRIDGE REDSTONE WHEREAS, on July 13, 2004, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #04~07-178 authorizing plans and specifications for the above referenced work; and WHEREAS, on October 12, 2004, the Ramsey City Council awarded the contract for 2 #04-30 to Redstone Construction in the amount of $999,279.30; and WHEREAs, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment to Redstone Construction in the amount of $237,321.60. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recom mends partial payment to Redstone Construction in the amount of $133,656.69. WHEREAS, Principal Engineer, Brian Olson has inspected the completed work and recommends partial payment fo Redstone Construction in the amount of $'139,378.03. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby authorizes partial payment to RedStone Construction for Improvement Project #04-30 in the amount of $139,378.03. 2) That the City Council hereby accepts the project and authorizes the Mayor' or City Administrator to sign the release form for this payment. 3) That the total amount of this payment is not included in resolutions approving payment of bills for the date of June 28, 2005. 4) That the City of Ramsey Finance Department will be provided a signed copy of this resolution.
