Recommendation: <br /> <br />Staff' is recommending approval of the request for Comprehensive Plan Amendment based on <br />StaWs interpretation of the criteria listed in the Interim Policy. It should be noted that Met <br />Council Staff' is also supportive of the City processing comprehensive plan amendments to <br />accommodate immediate requests for services and advised the City to submit the major <br />Comprehensive Plan rewrite later this fall when regional systems plans are updated. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt the resolution approving the request and authorize staff to submit the <br />Comprehensive Plan Amendment to the Metropolitan Council. <br /> <br />Motion to deny the request for a Comprehensive Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br />Coinmunity Development Director <br />Asst.
