89 <br />MINNESOTA RULES 6115.0660 <br />Subp. 20. Well. "Well" means any excavation that is drilled, cored, bored, washed, driven, <br />dug, jetted, or otherwise constructed where the intended use is for the location, diversion, or <br />acquisition of groundwater (Minnesota Statutes, section 103I.005, subdivision 21). <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 103 G. 515; 103 G. 531; 105.535 <br />Published Electronically: June 11, 2008 <br />6115.0640 COORDINATION WITH OTHER AGENCIES. <br />Nothing in these parts is intended to supersede or rescind the laws, rules, regulations, standards, <br />and criteria of other international, federal, state, regional, or local governmental subdivisions with <br />the authority to regulate the appropriation of waters of the state. The issuance of a permit shall not <br />confer upon an applicant the approval of any other unit of government for the proposed project. <br />The department shall coordinate the review of permit applications with other units of government <br />having jurisdiction in such matters. <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 105.535 <br />Published Electronically: June 11, 2008 <br />6115.0650 SEVERABILITY. <br />The provisions of these rules shall be severable, and the invalidity of any paragraph, <br />subparagraph, or subdivision thereof, shall not make void any other paragraph, subparagraph, <br />subdivision, or any other part. <br />Statutory Authority: MS s 105.535 <br />Published Electronically: June 11, 2008 <br />6115.0660 APPLICATION FOR PERMIT. <br />Subpart 1. Requirement. Applications shall be submitted for each surface or ground water <br />source from which water is proposed to be appropriated. A separate application shall be required <br />for the following: <br />A. for each distribution system if the water is used in more than one common distribution <br />system; <br />B. for each well(s) completed in different aquifers if groundwater is to be appropriated <br />from separate wells completed in more than one aquifer; and <br />C. for each basin or watercourse involved if surface water is to be appropriated from several <br />different basins or watercourses. <br />Subp. 2. Evidence of ownership.
