To complete the water supply planning process, we ask that you: • Please complete the attached "Certification of Adoption" form and upload it to MPARS as an attachment as soon as the City officially adopts the Plan. • Determine whether or not you need to send the updated water supply plan to the Metropolitan Council. You will find more details in the attached approval letter and water supply plan checklist. We wish to remind the City of Ramsey of the need to collect hourly water level information from the City production wells using its SCADA system. This information is to be submitted to the DNR on an annual basis along with your water use report. The approval of the City of Ramsey Water Supply Plan is not a pre -approval of either proposed future volumes or proposed wells that are indicated in the water supply plan. Between six months and 1 year before surpassing the authorized volume of DNR Water Appropriation Permit 1985-6005, an amendment request must be submitted to the DNR for increasing the authorized volume of the permit. We require a DNR preliminary well construction assessment submittal 6-12 months before a new well is constructed. The DNR will evaluate the well construction preliminary assessment against the most current laws and geologic information available at the time before making a decision on the requests. The ordinance that is included as appendix 7 is not a Critical Water Deficiency Ordinance. The City of Ramsey is required to adopt a Critical Water Deficiency Ordinance within six months of the approval of the City of Ramsey water supply plan. Attached to this e-mail is a copy of a
