Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-028 <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTIAL PAYMENT #4 TO RJM CONSTRUCTION <br />AND ITS CONTRACTORS FOR THE NEW RAMSEY PUBLIC WORKS FACILITY, <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #20-07 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey has planned for a new public works facility and added it <br />to our Capital Improvement Plan in 2006; and <br />WHEREAS, the property for the new public works facility was purchased in 2008 adjacent <br />to the current facility and that purchase was finalized in 2013 ; and <br />WHEREAS, a third party architectural firm (BKV Group) was hired in 2015 to perform a <br />space needs analysis to determine the size of facility needed to serve the public works departments <br />needs for now and 30-50 years into the future.; and <br />WHEREAS, the old facility consists of three buildings and multiple off site storage <br />locations, the new site will contain all public works functions and equipment at one centralized <br />location; and <br />WHEREAS, on September loth 2019 Ramsey City Council entered into a contract with <br />RJM Construction to provide construction management services for the new Ramsey public works <br />facility; and <br />WHEREAS, as of January 26, 2020 $3,531,042.77 has been paid to date; and <br />WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent has inspected the completed work and <br />recommends authorizing partial payment #4 to RJM Construction for Improvement Project #20- <br />07, New Ramsey Public Works Facility; and <br />WHEREAS, checks are made payable and addressed to contractors, payments will be sent <br />to RJM Construction, LLC for disbursment as listed below: <br />CONTRACTOR <br />PAY REQUEST <br />AMOUNT <br />Professional Service Industries <br />$11,568.15 <br />Hakanson Anderson Associates <br />$3,504.07 <br />Northland- Concrete & Masonry <br />$1441858.85 <br />Molin Concrete <br />$1100601.14 <br />Steenberg-Watrud Constriction <br />$1041342.30 <br />Thornberg Steel <br />$351787.45 <br />Ebert Construction <br />$1,296.75 <br />Top Light Contract Glazing <br />$105070.00 <br />RTL Construction <br />$700.00 <br />Klamm Mechanical Contractors <br />$91880.00 <br />Architect Mechanical <br />$51,775.00 <br />Wolf River Electric <br />$57,859.75 <br />
