Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-034 <br />RESOLUTION TO APPROVE THE 2021 LELS PATROL AND LELS <br />SERGEANTS UNION CONTRACTS <br />WHEREAS, the current LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants union contracts <br />expired on December 31, 2020; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has reached a tentative agreement with LELS Patrol and <br />LELS Sergeants groups on all articles within the contracts; and <br />WHEREAS Staff recommends approving the one-year contract with LELS Patrol <br />and LELS Sergeants groups, effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2021; and <br />WHEREAS, the City will administer the 2021 contracts as follows: <br />1) Duration: one year contracts, effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, <br />2021 for LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants groups; and <br />2) Wages: LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants groups, as follows: <br />LELS Patrol: 2021: 2.75% cost of living increase, plus a 1 % wage scale <br />adjustment added to the 2020 wage scale, effective 01-01-21; and <br />LELS Sergeants: 2021: 2.75% cost of living increase added to the 2020 wage <br />scale, effective 01-01-21; and a onetime payment to the Sergeants of $ 850.00 to <br />be paid within 30 days of this Agreement being executed by all parties; and <br />3) Health Insurance: LELS Patrol and LELS Sergeants group, as follows: <br />The City will make the following contributions toward group health insurance <br />coverage for employees; as well as to purchase $20,000 of basic life insurance; <br />and <br />a. 2021 monthly health insurance contributions, including the health <br />reimbursement or health savings account contributions as follows; <br />Employee Only (Single) $942.00 to $1,034.50, Employee and <br />Children at $1,246.00, Employee and Spouse at $1,300.30, and Family <br />at $1,603.80; and <br />b. 2021 City payment toward the Waiver/Credit in lieu of Coverage will <br />remain at $370.00 per month; and <br />
