Subd. 7. For lots two (2) acres (87,120 square feet) or greater in size, the <br />detached accessory building may be located nearer the front property line than the principal <br />building provided the following criteria are met: <br /> <br />The placement of the detached accessory building maintains compliance <br />with the standard front yard structure setback requirement for the <br />respective zoning district; and <br /> <br />bo <br /> <br />The exterior materials used on the detached accessory building match <br />those of the principal building on the subject property; and <br /> <br />c. The accessory building is designed with soffit, fascia and eave overhang. <br /> <br />()n lots loss than two (2) acres (87,120 square feet) in size, the accessory building shall be <br />located in the side or rear yard and shall not be located nearer the front property line than the <br />principal building on that lot, unless a variance is obtained. This provision shall not apply to <br />attachcd garages that maintain compliance with the applicable front yard setback requirement. <br /> <br /> Subd. 8.
