From: John Lichter
To: Kurt Ulrich
Cc: bobCaanokaicearena.com; d10jwaldo(agmail.com; Rick Wesp; davejCaprestigedrywall.com
Subject: March 9th Council meeting Information
Date: Thursday, March 4, 2021 3:51:39 PM
Attachments: image001.png
Hi Kurt, here is current hockey registration information by City for the Anoka Area Hockey
Association. We don't have these numbers for the Elk River Hockey Association to whom we also sell
ice. They have participants from Ramsey that live in the Elk River School District.
think Jeff just did a sort by City, but if you look at the actual address Ramsey gained 7 more players
after so this is what I have, this is just Anoka Area Hockey number
Ramsey
Anoka
227 78%
65 22%
292
need to mention a couple of other points. After the ice is removed we have turf installed in one
rink. Youth Lacrosse and Soccer leagues use this turf. Those leagues have Ramsey participants, again
we don't have a breakdown at this time. Anoka high School (AHS) also uses our facility for Hockey
practice and games. I would anticipate approximately 75% of those players are form Ramsey based
on the AAHA data. AHS gym classes also use our facilities for various classes and during inclement
weather. The AHS baseball and softball teams use our turf during poor weather also.
If I can answer any other specific questions prior to the meeting please let me know. Thanks.
John Lichter, P.E.
Senior Environmental Engineer
On CARLSON
3890 PHEASANT RIDGE DRIVE NE, SUITE 100 \ BLAINE, MN 55449
TEL 763-489-7949 \ CELL 612-750-6685 \ FAX 763-489-7959
CARLSON MCCAI N.COM
This message is intended for the individual or entity named above.
