COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />7.01: Adopt Ordinance #21-08 to Amend City Code Chapter 10, Article III, Sec. 57, 58 and <br />65 Pertaining to Dog Licensing <br /> <br />Police Chief Katers reviewed the staff report and recommendation to remove Section 10-57 – <br />Individual Dog Licensing, the rewording of Section 10-58 – Tags and the addition of clarifying <br />language in Section 10-63 – Dangerous Dog Registration. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Musgrove, seconded by Councilmember Specht, to Adopt Ordinance <br />#21-08 Vacating the Requirement of Dog Licensing and Requiring Identification Tags, Adding <br />Clarifying Language to Dangerous Dogs Liability Insurance. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Musgrove stated that she believed that this came forward <br />following direction from the Council to streamline processes and make things more efficient for <br />staff and the public. MAYOR, COUNCIL AND STAFF INPUT <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich announced upcoming meetings and events. <br /> <br />Councilmember Musgrove asked if the License Center would be open by appointment only or <br />available for walk ins. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich believed that it would be appointment only but noted that he could <br />follow up on that. <br /> <br />9.
