CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKACOUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 14, 2005, at the <br />Ramsey Fire Station Number 1, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember David Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Stmmmen <br /> <br />Members Absent: None <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Community Development Director Patrick Tmdgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attomey William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:04 p.m., followed by <br />the Pledge of Allegiance led by Councilmember Elvig. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated the following: <br /> · He thanked the Ramsey Lions for the Community Picnic and all of the Lions support for <br /> the community. <br /> · Discovery Park opened in the past week. The park is at the east end of Alpine Park and <br /> includes a nature trail and walking area. <br /> · He attended a trip to Loudi, China, which was a working session associated with the <br /> sister city relationship between the City of Ramsey and the City of Loudi. There will be <br /> an opportunity to bring businesses from Loudi into the Ramsey Industrial Park and to <br /> bring product from Ramsey to Loudi.
