Board Member <br /> <br />introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION/405-07- <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT # RELATING TO-A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE TO THE IMPERVIOUS SURFACE RESTRICTIONS IN <br />TIlE CRITICAL RIVER AND WILD AND SCENIC RIVER OVERLAY DISTRICTS TO <br />FAC [LITATE ADDITIONAL CUSTOMER PARKING FOR SUPERBOWL <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mike Anderson, the oWner of the SUperbowl facility located at 6720 <br />Riverdale Drive N.W., hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly applied for a Board of <br />Adjustment variance from the impervious surface restrictions in the Critical River and Wild and <br />Scenic River Overlay Districts on the property legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1, Block 1, Riverview Bowl, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE O..F, MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />l. That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing <br /> pursuant to Section 9.03.07 of the Ramsey City Code on July 7, 2005, and that said public <br /> hearing was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby <br /> incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />'['hat the subject property is zoned B-2 Highway Business and is approximately 3.5 acres <br />in size. <br /> <br />That the property to' the north, east, west, and southwest is zoned B-2 Highway Business; <br />the property to the southeast is zoned R-1 Residential. ' <br /> <br />4. That the subject property is currently occupied by Superbowl bowling lanes. <br /> <br />5. That approximately sixty percent (60%) of the Subject Property is located in the <br /> Mississippi Critical River Overlay District and. the Wild and Scenic River Overlay <br /> District. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property was developed prior to the adoption of the Critical River and <br />Wild and Scenic River Performance Standards. <br /> <br />That Section 9.21.07(1)(b) (Critical River Overlay District Development Standards), and <br />Section 9.23.06(1) (Scenic River Overlay District Development Standards). establishes the <br />maximum impervious surface area allowed as 30% of the total lot area. <br /> <br />5 <br /> <br /> <br />
