<br /> <br />Councilmember Specht introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-050 <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A NON-TRADITIONAL ANIMAL <br />LICENSE TO MAINTAIN ONE MINIATURE FAINTING GOATS ON THE PROPERTY <br />TH <br />GENERALLY KNOWN AS 5715 150 LANE NW AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME. <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Miguel and Breeka Jaramillo, hereinafter referred to as the “Licensees” have <br />properly applied to the City of Ramsey (the “City”) for a Non-Traditional Animal License (the <br />“License”) to maintain a fainter/mini-cross goat on the property generally known as 5715 150th <br />Ln NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Lot 1 Block 3 Pondvale Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Lot 2 Block 3 Pondvale Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />Lot 3 Block 3 Pondvale Estates, Anoka County, Minnesota <br /> <br />(“Subject Property”) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Planning Division Staff was forwarded a complaint by the Police Department <br />on August 4, 2020 of a goat residing on the Subject Property, a violation of Chapter 10 regarding <br />Animals. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the City sent formal notices of violation on August 7, 2020, October 7, 2020, <br />and January 19, 2021 regarding the Chapter 10 violation, requesting they apply for a Non- <br />Traditional Animal License to maintain the goat on the property. An administrative citation was <br />sent with the formal notice sent on August 7, 2020. The Applicants were unable to officially apply <br />due to military duty conflictions. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, the Applicants paid for the administrative citation that was sent on August 7, <br />2020. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> the City Council met on March 9, 2021 to review the request for a Non- <br />Traditional Animal License. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />1) That a Non-Traditional Animal License (the “License”) to maintain one (1) fainter/mini- <br />Subject PropertyLicensee <br />cross goats on the is hereby granted to the . <br /> <br />
