Administrative Services Director Lasher advised of the required seven day waiting period, noting <br />th <br />that on February 24, 2021 the new member can be sworn in and March 9 would be the first regular <br />City Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Riley, seconded by Councilmember Howell, to accept and declare the <br />results of the Ward 1 – 2021 Special General Election. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Musgrove stated that it was interesting to see the number of <br />military ballots. She asked if any ballots came in after election day that were counted, whether <br />there were any discrepancies, and whether chain of custody was maintained. Administrative <br />Services Director Lasher confirmed that ballots after election day were not counted, there were no <br />discrepancies and chain of custody was maintained. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Mayor Kuzma, Councilmembers Riley, Howell, Musgrove, <br />Specht, and Woestehoff. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />5.
