Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #21-084 A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SUBMITTAL OF RIVERSTONE SOUTH TO THE LEGISLATIVE -CITIZEN COMMISSION ON MINNESOTA RESOURCES (LCCMR) ENVIRONMENT AND NATURAL RESOURCES TRUST FUND (ENTF) PROGRAM WHEREAS, that the City of Ramsey desires to protect an area of high -quality canopy cover in a natural oak savannah forest located within the Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA); and WHEREAS, that project area is subject to a development proposal for single-family homes; and WHEREAS, that the City of Ramsey has worked closely with the developer to maximize preservation of the important ecological resources that protects the area from erosion, improves water quality of the Mississippi River and provides beneficial open space and recreational opportunities to current and future residents. WHEREAS, that the City of Ramsey has not incurred any development costs and has not entered into a written purchase agreement to acquire the property described in the Cost Breakdown section on this application. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1. That the Application to LCCMR's ENRTF Program is hereby authorized. 2. That Tim Gladhill, Deputy City Administrator, is authorized to serve as administrator of the grant on behalf of the City. 3. That the Mayor and City Administrator are authorized to sign agreements on behalf of the City. 4. That the City agrees to implement the requirements of the grant if awarded funding. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Riley, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against the same: and the following abstained: and the following were absent:
