Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-078 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A FULL-TIME ZONING CODE ENFORCEMENT <br />OFFICER <br />WHEREAS, The City Council authorized funding for a full-time Zoning Code <br />Enforcement Officer; and <br />WHEREAS, a recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Bra Raines has been selected as the top candidate for the <br />position; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff completed the necessary background checks and are <br />recommending that Ms. Bria Raines be hired as a full-time Zoning Code Enforcement <br />Officer, effective on or near April 12, 2021 at $32.21 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Raines will be subject to a 6-month probationary period; and <br />WHEREAS, Ms. Raines will be subject to the terms of the applicable labor <br />agreement and the City's Personnel Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-078 to hire Ms. Bris Raines as a full-time <br />Zoning Code Enforcement Officer, effective on or near April 12, 2021, at <br />$32.21 per hour, which is step 3 of the 2021 wage scale with a credit of five <br />(5) vacation days. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
