Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-080 <br />AUTHORIZATION TO UPDATE THE INTERN WAGE SCALE <br />WHEREAS, the City employs temporary interns to assist City departments; and <br />WHEREAS, the current starting wage for interns is $12.00 to $14.00 per hour; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, Staff is requesting to update the wage scale to a hiring range of <br />$13.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour, depending on job requirements and qualifications. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to update the Intern Wage Scale to $13.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour, <br />depending on job requirements and qualifications. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 23rd day of March 2021. <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />
