Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #21-081 RESOLUTION APPOINTING AND RE -APPOINTING BOARD AND COMMISSION MEMBERS WHEREAS, there are open seats on the City's boards and commissions as of April 1, 2021; and WHEREAS, the vacancies were advertised in the Ramsey Resident, the Anoka County Union, on the City's website, on QCTV, on the City's Facebook, and via the city's email notification system; and WHEREAS, the City Council conducted interviews on March 16, 2021; and WHEREAS, per Minnesota Statue 469.095, pertaining to the Mayor's authority to appoint members to the Economic Development Authority (EDA), Mayor Kuzma indicated that he will select Mr. William MacLennan, Ms. Rachal Johnson, and Mr. Michael Olson to be appointed to the EDA; and the City Council indicated approval with the Mayor's selection, as follows: Economic Development Authority: William MacLennan 6-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-27); Rachal Johnson 3-year partial term (4-01-21 to 3-31-24); Michael Olson 2-year partial term (4-01-21 to 3-31-23); WHEREAS, the City Council agreed by consensus to the following remaining appointments to the boards and commissions, as follows: Environmental Policy Board Park and Recreation Commission Planning Commission *Jane Covart 4-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-25) *Jennifer Leistico Dean Olson Brian Walker *Cheri Gengler Andrew Dunaway Brian Walker 4-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-25) 4-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-25) 2-year partial term (04-01-21 to 03-31-23) 4-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-25) 4-year full term (04-01-21 to 03-31-25) 2-year partial term (04-01-21 to 03-31-23) *Indicates a re -appointment NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-081 as follows: 1) appointing and re -appointing the following board and commission members effective April 1, 2021: to the Economic
