CC Regular Session 7.4. <br />Meeting Date: 03/23/2021 <br />By: Chloe McGuire Brigl, Community <br />Development <br />Information <br />Title: <br />Consider Request from Planning Commission for a Joint Work Session <br />Purpose/Background: <br />The Planning Commission requested a joint work session with the City Council and City's Economic Development <br />Authority (EDA) to discuss land use in the COR. The Planning Commission has recently seen a few requests for the <br />COR and would like to talk about general land use in the COR and the vision for the COR overall from City <br />Council. These types of joint work sessions have been beneficial in the past for increasing collaboration and <br />communication between the City Council, Planning Commission, and EDA. It is also a good opportunity for newer <br />members to get to know each other. <br />Staff will ask the Planning Commission Chair to attend this meeting to present their request. <br />Notification: <br />N/A <br />Funding Source: <br />Staff is handling this request as part of normal duties. <br />Recommendation: <br />The Planning Commission recommended scheduling a joint session with the City Council and Economic <br />Development Authority (EDA).
