<br />Park Dedication Celebration & Dog Parade
<br />The City of Ramsey invites you to celebrate the renaming
<br />of Central Park to honor, and recognize, Loral 1 Armstrong
<br />Delaney. This initiative was affirmed and adopted by City
<br />Council Resolution #20-21. Following the dedication, we invite
<br />all dogs to participate in a Ramsey Community Dog Parade!

<br />how to participate in the dog parade. Registration is not required.
<br />Honoring Loral I Delaney
<br />Bom in 1938 to Fred and Nellie Armstrong, Loral 1 has lived in
<br />Ramsey her entire life on the grounds of Armstrong Ranch Kennels.
<br />Her father opened the business in 1926 and is the namesake of
<br />Armstrong Boulevard, which at the time was a simple dirt road.
<br />Loral I has witnessed the Township of Ramsey become the city it
<br />is today. And, in Loral 1's lifetime, with husband Chuck Delaney
<br />at her side, her father's business has been transformed into a world
<br />class dog boarding and training facility. The two of them co-
<br />founded, and host Game Fair each year, one of largest outdoors
<br />events in the nation, and Loral 1 became one of the world's finest
<br />and most highly decorated trapshooters. Amassing numerous
<br />national and international trophies throughout six decades of
<br />competition., Loral 1 was inducted into the Trapshooting Hall of
<br />Fame in 1989.
