Councihnember Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-05-137 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AMENDMENTS <br />COMMISSION JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> <br />TO QUAD CITIES CABLE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission has reviewed and proposed <br />amendments to the Joint Powers Agreement between the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Andover, <br />Champlin creating the Qual Cities Cables Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the review of the Joint Powers Agreement is necessary from time to time to <br />ensure thc Agreement reflects the proper operation of the Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission Attorney Steve Guzzetta has prepared <br />and reviewed the proposed amendments; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Quad Cities Cable Commission has approved the proposed amendments <br />and is requesting approval from each of the four member cities. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the City Council of the City of Ramsey approves the amendments to the Joint <br />Powers Agreement between the cities of Ramsey, Anoka, Andover, and Champlin <br />creating the Quad Cities Cable Commission as submitted to the Ramsey City Council on <br />May 24th, 2005. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Cook, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Councilmember Pearson <br />Councilmember Cook <br />Councilmember Elvig <br />Councilmember Jeffrey <br />Councilmember Olson <br />Councilmember Strommen <br />Councilmember Pearson <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> <br />
