<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-078 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A FULL-TIME ZONING CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />The City Council authorized funding for a full-time Zoning Code <br />Enforcement Officer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> a recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br /> Ms. Bra Raines has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Staff completed the necessary background checks and are recommending <br />that Ms. Bria Raines be hired as a full-time Zoning Code Enforcement Officer, effective on or near <br />April 12, 2021 at $32.21 per hour; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, Ms. Raines will be subject to a 6-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, Ms. Raines will be subject to the terms of the applicable labor agreement and <br />the City’s Personnel Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-078 to hire Ms. Bris Raines as a full-time Zoning Code <br />Enforcement Officer, effective on or near April 12, 2021, at $32.21 per hour, which is step <br />3 of the 2021 wage scale with a credit of five (5) vacation days. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
