ORDINANCE #21-02 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE SECTION 117-148 ENTITLED <br />MISSISSIPPI RIVER CORRIDOR CRITICAL AREA. <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the Charter of the City of Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. PURPOSE <br />Per 5701.10 (Fees) the purpose of this Ordinance is to update the Mississippi River Corridor <br />Critical Area (MRCCA) as required by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources. <br />SECTION 3. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 117-348 <br />The current City Code Section 117-148 is repealed in its entirety and replaced with the text in <br />Exhibit A attached hereto. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This Ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter <br />Section 5.04. <br />SECTION 5. SUMMARY <br />The following is the official summary of Ordinance #21-02, as clearly informing the public of the <br />intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />Ordinance #21-02 updates the City's Mississippi River Corridor Critical Area (MRCCA) Overlay <br />District to comply with minimum requirements established by the State of Minnesota. Critical <br />Area Overlay Standards include, but are not limited lot size, building size, building height, <br />vegetation management, bluff/slope protection, open space preservation and stormwater <br />management. <br />2021. <br />PASSED by the City Council of the City of Ramsey, Minnesota the 13th day of April, <br />Mayor <br />
