REO'D MAY ± 0 ~005 ~" <br /> <br />We the un. dersigned adult residents of Ramsey respectfully petition the Ramsey City <br />Council to deny the applications of the developers of Shade Tree Cottages and Rum River <br />Meadows for PUD status for the following reason: <br />Ramsey City Code does not allow for a "dethched townhome" as elligible for PUD status. <br />It recognizes single family homes which, require following R-1 zoning laws, and "attached <br />townhomes." Since the buildings proposed by the developers best meet the definition of <br />single family homes, we request that the R-1 requirement for 10,800 square foot lots <br />instead of the proposed 3,200 to 3,700 square foot lots be adhered to. One purpose of <br />zoning an area like this R-1 instead.of highter density is to prevent potential problems <br />with drainage, traffic, safety, density transitioning, and preservation of land <br />characteristics.
