CASE # <br /> <br />REVIEW RAMSEY TOWN CENTER PARKS <br /> By: Leonard Linton, Civil Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Ramsey Town Center has submitted 98% construction plans for East Park and South <br />Park. The developer presented an update on the plans at the joint City Council/Park and <br />Recreation Commission meeting in June. Staff has reviewed the plans and submitted <br />comments to the developer. The comments focused on fine tuning the technical details of <br />the project. The East Park Project includes the amphitheater and pedestrian bridges. The <br />city has received grants from the Metropolitan Council for construction of these projects. <br />The City Attorney is reviewing the options for reimbursing the contractor from the grant <br />funds and will have an opinion at the meeting. <br /> <br />The South Park project includes a soccer/softball field, parking and room'for a future <br />building. The contractor has been given approval to start construction of the play field so <br />that the turf can be established.
