Norman <br />City Administrator <br />City of Ramsey <br />15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW. <br />Ramsey, MN 55303,6140 <br /> <br />Dear.Mr. Norman: <br /> <br />This letter outlines the projects and tasks to be included as a retainer agreement for <br />consulting services to assist the City of Ramsey in identifying and implementing <br />strategies related to positive land-use and transportation improvements within the <br />TH#10 Corridor and other areas of the City. <br /> <br />The Tinklenberg Group welcomes the opportunity to continue our work on an on-going <br />basis relative to the following tasks: <br /> <br />General tasks <br /> <br />Provide work necessary to implement federal funding available such as p. roject <br />memoranda and other associated documents. <br />Coordination with Mn/DOT and other public/private agencies· regarding the. <br />Ramsey park-and-ride lot/facility in .an effort to maximize additional funding_ <br /> · . . <br />opportunities and improvements. -'-' .. <br />Coordination with Anoka COunty and the Metropolitan Council to assist in the <br />allocation of funds for the provision of transit services to the park-and-ride and <br />Ramsey Town Center development including Northstar Commuter Rail service. <br />Continued support in ·Washington D.C. including communications, update· <br />materials', and support activities relative to the FY05 Appropriations request and <br />Reauthodzation in an effort to improve awareness and support and to secure <br />financial resources for improvements to TH10, trail systems and other <br />projects/areas in Ramsey. <br />Schedule and coordinate an annual delegation to Washington D.C. to meet with <br />key potitica leaders and continue increasing awareness of projects in Ramsey <br />and along the TH10 Corridor, Ramsey Town Center transportation related <br />projects and other needs as identified. <br />Communications and negotiations with willing sellers/property owners within the <br />officially mapped area along TH10 relative to the purchase of the property and <br />accessing RALF funds for reimbursement to the City. <br /> <br /> <br />
