Associate Planner Geisler stated a Comprehensive Plan Amendment request was considered and <br />denied for the Subject Property by the City Council in 2002. She indicated the primary reason <br />for the denial was the lack of a concept plan for the property. She stated since that time, a <br />concept plan for the entire Town Center site has been approved by the City~ Council. She <br />indicated the request also meets the criteria established in the Interim Policy for Land Use <br />Changes adopted by the City Council on April 26, 2005. She stated this request is largely a <br />housekeeping item required to bring the subject property in line with the remainder of the Town <br />Center site in terms of land use designation. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated Staff recommends approval of the request for' Comprehensive <br />Plan Amendment. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />There was no public input." <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Levine to close the public hearing <br />at 9:12 p.m. <br /> <br />Motion Carded. Absent: Chairperson Nixt and <br /> <br />Case #6: <br /> <br />Public Hearing: Request for Preliminary Plat and Preliminary Site Plan <br />Approval of Town Center 8th Addition; Case of Ramsey Town Center LLC <br /> <br />Presentation <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler advised that Ramsey Town Center, LLC has submitted'a preliminary <br />plat and preliminary site plan to develop 23 small-lot single-family homes on approximately 8.13 <br />acres in Ramsey Town Center Addition. She stated the proposed development is located north of <br />Bunker Lake Boulevard and west of the extension of Town Center Drive. <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler stated the subject property is currently zoned Town Center-4a <br />Neighborhood District.
