Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #05-07-XXX RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CINEMA FACILITY CONSULTING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PAUL SILK IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 WITH A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE BUDGET OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 WHEREAS, as part of the Ramsey Town Center Core area development, a Cinema facility is to be constructed: and WHEREAS, Paul Silk, who has .thirty years of cinema experience, has approached the City regarding offering his expertise in the negotiations of the cinema prqiect; and WHEREAS, Mr. Silk's contract would be for a two-year period with a total fee of $5,000; and WHEREAS, Funding for the Cinema contract would be obtained with a transfer from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of' Community Development in the amount of $5,000. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Cinema Facility Consulting Services Contract with Mr. Paul Silk in the amount of $5,000 with funding from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community Development in the amount of $5,000. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 12th day of July, 2005.
