Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #05-07-XXX <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CINEMA FACILITY CONSULTING <br />SERVICES CONTRACT WITH PAUL SILK IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 WITH <br />A TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE COUNCIL CONTENGENCY TO THE <br />BUDGET OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $5,000 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, as part of the Ramsey Town Center Core area development, a <br />Cinema facility is to be constructed: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Paul Silk, who has .thirty years of cinema experience, has <br />approached the City regarding offering his expertise in the negotiations of the cinema <br />prqiect; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Silk's contract would be for a two-year period with a total fee <br />of $5,000; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Funding for the Cinema contract would be obtained with a transfer <br />from the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of' Community Development in the <br />amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That the Ramsey City Council hereby approves the Cinema Facility Consulting <br />Services Contract with Mr. Paul Silk in the amount of $5,000 with funding from <br />the Council Contingency Fund to the budget of Community Development in the <br />amount of $5,000. <br /> <br />The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against: <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City <br />Council this the 12th day of July, 2005. <br /> <br /> <br />
