Councihnembcr Pearson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION/404-10-327 RI,;SOLUTION APPROVING THE APPRAISAL OF SAMAGES FOR THE ACQUISITION OF PERMANENT EASEMENTS FOR STREET, DRAINAGE AND UTILITY PURPOSES FOR THE EXTENSION OF 160Tu LANE NW WHEREAS, pursuant to its Resolution 04-08-217, the City Council authorized the commencement of an eminent domain action for acquisition of, permanent easements as dcscribcd on thc attached EXIBIT A (the "Subject Property"); and WIlEREAS, the owners of the Subject Property have been identified as shown on the attached EXIBIT A. The purpose of the acquisition is to acquire from the owners the permanent casements necessary for the extension of 160th Lane NW; and WHEREAS, as a part of the condemnation action the City authorized that the Subject Property be appraised to determine the damages incurred by the owners as a result of the taking by thc City of the permanent easements; and WHEREAS, the City's appraiser has completed an appraisal of the Subject Property. NOW TItEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council hereby approves the appraisal of value of the Subject Property in thc amount of $19,700.00 for parcel 1, (the Kaas parcel) and $15,100.00 for parcel 2 (the l)usbabck Parcel). That pursuant to Minn. Stat. {}117.042, the City Attorney is authorized to deposit the appraised amount with the District Court Administrator or to pay said amount directly to thc owners of the Subject Property. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Cook and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereofi Mayor Gamec Councilmember Councihnember Councihnember Councilmember Councihnember Pearson Cook Kurak Strommen Zimmerman and thc following voted against the same: YIOIIC
