Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-054 <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF AN INTERIM USE PERMIT TO <br />ALLOW AN ACCESSORY STRUCTURE FOR THE CHURCH OF ST. KATHARINE <br />DREXEL AND DECLARING TERMS OF SAME <br />RECITALS <br />1. The Church of St. Katharine Drexel, hereinafter referred to as the "Permittee" has properly <br />applied for an Interim Use Permit to allow the use of an accessory structure (the <br />"Structure") on the property generally located east of Central Park, north of 161" Ave <br />NW, west of Variolite St, and legally described as follows: <br />THE SE1/4 OF NW1/4 OF SEC 16 TWP 32 RGE 25, EX W 185 FT THEREOF, EX RD, <br />SUBJ TO EASE OF REC, Anoka County, Minnesota <br />(the "Subject Property") <br />2. That The Church of St. Katharine Drexel, owns the Subject Property and has signed off <br />on the application. <br />3. That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Residential District (MUSA), and is <br />approximately 33.18 acres in size between two parcels. <br />4. That the Subject Property abuts Variolite St NW to the east, 161" Ave NW to the south, <br />and nearby parcels to the east and west of the Subject Property are zoned R-1 Residential <br />District (MUSA), while nearby parcels to the north and south of the Subject Property are <br />zoned R-1 Residential District (Rural Developing). <br />5. That the Structure is proposed to be thirty (30) feet wide by forty (40) feet long, <br />approximately eighteen (18) feet tall, with aluminum or similar metal siding, painted earth - <br />tone color. <br />6. That the Permittee is proposing to temporarily utilize the Structure for storage purposes <br />onsite until the main church building can be constructed. <br />FINDINGS OF FACT <br />1. That the Structure will not be unduly dangerous or detrimental to persons residing or <br />working in the vicinity of the use, or to the public welfare. <br />2. That the Structure will not substantially adversely impair the use, enjoyment or market <br />value of any of the surrounding properties. <br />
