<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-091 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPLICATION FOR METROPOLITAN <br />COUNCIL ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES (MCES) 2020 MUNICIPAL INFLOW & <br />INFILTRATION (I&I) GRANT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />through the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services 2020 State Bond <br />Fund, funding is available to off-set costs associated with inflow and infiltration in our sanitary <br />sewer system; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS <br />, this funding opportunity will help the community proactively address long- <br />term maintenance of the City’s sanitary sewer system and prevent unnecessary costs of treatment <br />and maintenance; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the deadline for submitting proposals is April 16, 2021. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes Staff to apply for the 2020 State Bond <br /> Fund Municipal Inflow & Infiltration (I&I) Grant. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
