<br />Councilmember Woestehoff introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-100 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ON-CALL DUTY OFFICER COMPENSATION IN <br />THE FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />the City employs Duty Officers to work mandatory on-call shifts; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />on-call Duty Officers are not currently compensated while on-call; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, <br />Staff recommends compensating Duty Officers for the time they are on call. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to authorize compensating On-call Duty Officers, effective April 14, 2021, at the <br />Officer’s normal hourly rate, per day, as follows: Two hours for non- holidays and four <br />hours for each of the eleven holidays as outlined in the City’s Personnel Policy. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
