Administration <br />Intern <br />Bargaining Unit: None <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />Established Date: Jan 23, 2018 <br />Revision Date: Feb 19, 2021 <br />Class Code: <br />10001 <br />SALARY RANGE <br />$12.00 - $14.00 Hourly <br />PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: <br />The City of Ramsey is seeking an Administration Intern to work with staff in facilitating multiple <br />ongoing City functions, projects, and events. The largest project is assisting with the City's <br />annual Happy Days Festival to be held Saturday, September 11, 2021. <br />This is a temporary internship working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday 1 8:am to 4:30 <br />pm, beginning in late April to early May and running through approximately mid -September, <br />depending on availability, workload and rules of Minnesota Public Employment Labor <br />Relations Act (PELRA). . Work hours may vary depending on assigned projects and if the <br />candidate is still attending school. - <br />All candidates must upload a copy of their resume to this application. <br />MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: <br />Qualified candidates must have all of the following to be considered: <br />• Must be at least 1years of age or older <br />• Must have a high school diploma or GED <br />• Must have a valid Minnesota driver's license with a good driving record <br />• Must be a current student pursuing a degree in Communications, Business <br />Administration, Public Administration, Public Policy, Community Development, or <br />related field; or a recent graduate looking to gain experience <br />• Must have intermediate, or greater, Microsoft Office knowledge and skills <br />• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills <br />• Must be able to accurately type at least forty 0 words per minute <br />• Must have the ability to provide excellent customer service <br />Desired Qualifications include: <br />• Previous experience handling multiple tasks and deadlines <br />
