CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Thc Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, June 28, at the Ramsey Fire <br />Station Number 1, 15050 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Todd Cook <br />Councilmember David Elvig <br />Councilmember Mary Jo Olson <br />Councilmember A1 Pearson <br />Councilmember Sarah Strommen <br /> <br />Members Absent: Councilmember David Jeffrey <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Assistant City Administrator Heidi Nelson <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Public Works Director Dean Kapler <br />Assistant Public Works Director Brian Olson <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />Civil Engineer II Leonard Linton <br />Community Development Director Patrick Trudgeon <br />Police Chief James Way <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br /> <br />CALI~ TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:03 p.m., followed by <br />thc Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec announced the following: <br /> <br />· Retirement Open House at the Police Station on Thursday, June 30th from 2:00 to 4:00 <br /> p.m. for Jim Balabon who will be retiring from the Police Department. <br />· Thc Council held a closed session prior to this meeting regarding litigation concerning <br /> property on 160th Lane. <br />· llappy Days will be held on Saturday, September 17th with a teen dance Friday night, <br /> September 16th. More information will be coming out in the Ramsey Resident. <br />· Annual Night Out will be held on August 2nd.
