<br />Councilmember Musgrove introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-125 <br /> <br />APPROVING LEASE AGREEMENT WITH RM GOLF CARTS FOR 7039 HIGHWAY 10 <br />NW <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. (the “Tenant”) has leased the commercial building and <br />lot commonly known as 7039 Highway 10, Ramsey, Minnesota and legally described as Lot 2, <br />Block 1, KOVAR ADDITION, Anoka County, Minnesota (the “Leased Property”) for the past 10 <br />years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. has asked the City to consider a 3 year renewal of the <br />Lease Space; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, rm Golf Carts, Inc. has been a quality tenant for the duration of its previous <br />leases with the City; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the proposed lease rate is $2,250 per month from June 1, 2021-May 31, 2022, <br />$2,318.00 (3% increase) per month from June 1, 2022-May 31, 2023 and $2,387.00 (3% increase) <br />per month from June 1, 2022-May 31, 2023 and is considered market rate. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) That the City of Ramsey authorizes execution of the Lease Agreement with rm Golf Carts, <br />Inc.; subject to City Attorney review. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Specht, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
