Land acquired with this appropriation must be sufficiently improved to meet <br />at least minimum management standards as determined by the commissioner of natural resources. <br />WHEREAS, as part of Minnesota Laws 2003, Chapter 128, Article I, Section 9, Subdivision 5(b) <br />Metropolitan Area Wildlife Corridors, the Recipient has proposed Metro Area Wildlife Corridors/Trott <br />Brook Greenway 3.9, and <br />WHEREAS,' the Recipient submitted to the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources a -Work <br />Program for Metro Area Wildlife Corridors/Trott Brook Greenway 3.9 in the amount of $500,000, and <br />the Legislative Commission on Minnesota Resources approved that Work Program and amount on.July <br />9, 2003; <br />NOW THEREFORE, it is agreed between the State and the Recipient as follows: <br />1. GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />1.1 The State awards to the Recipient up to $500,000 for Metro Area Wildlife Corridors/Trott Brook <br />Greenway 3.9 (hereinafter the "Project"). The obligation of the State under this Agreement is <br />Limited to $500,000. <br />1.2 The recipient acknowledges that these funds are proceeds from the Minnesota Environment and <br />Natural Resources Trust Fund (hereinafter the "Fund"), which is subject to certain legal restriction <br />and requirements, including Minnesota Statutes Chapter 116P. The Recipient is responsible for <br />compliance with this and all other relevant state and federal laws and regulations promulgated <br />pursuant thereto governing the proceeds of the Minnesota Environment and Natural Resource Trust <br />Fund in the fulfillment of the Project. <br />1.3 CONTACT PERSONS <br />The authorized contact person for the State is: <br />William H.
