MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />BETWEEN THE CITY OF RAMSEY AND AMERICAN FEDERATION OF <br />STATE, COUNTY, AND MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES (AFSCME) <br />January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2021 as described below: <br />M.O.U. PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER CAREER <br />LADDER PROGRAM <br />The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is to memorialize the <br />agreement between the City of Ramsey (the EMPLOYER) and the Arnoriean Federation <br />of State, County; and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) concerning Public Works <br />Maintenance Workers' participation in the City's Career Ladder Program. <br />The Program: <br />The Career Ladder Program includes specific eriteria for eligibility and advancement as <br />established and maintained in policy by the City. <br />Educational Expenses: <br />Training and tuition expenses incurred as a result of the Career Ladder Program will be <br />paid and/or reimbursed as defined in the City Personnel Policy. <br />Wages: <br />Upon completion of each of the following career ladder levels employees will be <br />compensated as follows: <br />Level 2 to be paid at 1% over the step 6 base wage <br />Level 3 to be paid at 1.5% over the step 6 base wage <br />Level 4 to 1�� paid at 3%over step 6 base wage <br />l i r <br />BY: <br />Negotiating Team ember <br />BY: <br />�r�r <br />�r: r•"rf <br />Negotiating Team Mmber <br />BY; <br />- 2,-/ 24) <br />Date <br />- - <br />Date <br />Date <br />
