You will provide general maintenance of streets, park grounds, trails, <br /> buildings,and related facilities and equipment through the spring, summer and fall months. <br /> Rate of pay is $13.00 to $15.00 depending on qualifications. These positions are open <br /> until filled—so apply immediately if you are interested. <br /> • Accounting Clerk— Full-time position. Perform finance, accounting and administrative <br /> activities, including but not limited to accounts payable and accounts receivable functions. <br /> Will also serve as a back-up processing for bi-weekly payroll. Rate of pay is $22.585 per <br /> hour. Must be at least 18 years of age or older and possess at least an Associate's Degree. <br /> This is an AFSCME union position. This position is open until 11:59 pm on Sunday,June <br /> 20, 2021. <br /> • Deputy City Administrator/Community Development Director — Full-time position. <br /> This individual is responsible for the planning and implementation of assistance programs <br /> for development and redevelopment of residential,commercial and industrial land that help <br /> shape a vibrant, sustainable community. Works to provide cross functional administrative <br /> project leadership, capital development project administration, and management analysis <br /> for the organization. Salary range: $106,613 to $133,266 annually. John and Bonnie Enstrom are hosting Minnesota's largest flag <br /> retirement ceremony with a picnic to follow Monday, June 14, at 3:00 pm at Veterans Lake in <br /> Ramsey, 8702 181'Avenue NW. Bring your family and friends to witness the process of retiring <br /> Old Glory alongside the Elk River American Legion Post 112 Honor Guard. Bring a lawn chair <br /> and a dish to share for the picnic. This event is open to the public; you don't have to be a Veteran <br /> to attend! You could qualify for $200 by replacing an existing <br /> irrigation controller or toilet with a WaterSense labeled device. The City is offering water <br /> efficiency rebates for qualifying City water customers. By replacing an existing controller or toilet <br /> with a WaterSense labeled device, you could receive a rebate for the cost of the device or $200 - <br /> whichever is less. To qualify,you must be a City of Ramsey water customer,must be replacing an <br /> existing device and the new device must be U.S. EPA WaterSense labeled. The City of Ramsey is gathering <br /> sponsorships as part of its Adopt-a-Flag program. The Adopt-a-Flag Program calls for community <br /> partners —both in the business and residential community—to sponsor a flag that will be affixed <br /> to a light pole along Sunwood Drive. A Friends-of-the-Flag Level Sponsorship is$50 and a Patriot <br /> Level Sponsorship is $500. This covers the cost of supplies as well as an engraved plaque which <br /> will be on display at Ramsey City Hall. Patriot Sponsors will also have an engraved nameplate <br /> affixed to the light pole. Adopting a flag can also serve as a symbol to honor the memory of a <br /> loved one.
