STATE OF MINNESOTA COUNTY OF ANOKA CITY OF RAMSEY Code Enforcement Unit (1) Fences ■ A zoning permit is required for the construction of a fence. A first notice of violation was sent to your property on January 15 th, 2021, and a second notice of violation was sent on March 2nd, 2021. A case for abatement was brought to the City Council, and the City Council decided to withhold abatement of the property at their regular meeting on April 13th, 2021. They subsequently granted an additional thirty (30) days for compliance with City Code. City Staff has noted violations still exist on the property, and have been instructed by the City Council to abate the property of items in violation via the City Council's Resolution #21-098 (attached), after a 30 day extension — which ended on May 14th. The City Council made this motion at their regular meeting on May 25th, 2021. You have 14 days from the date of this letter to address the following (or the items will be removed from the property on June 9th, 2021, and the property owner will be billed up to 150% of the expense): • City Code Chapter 30-3 o Remove, properly dispose of, or conceal all public nuisance items. • City Code Section 117-355 o Move all vehicles onto appropriate surfacing. o No more than six (6) vehicles/recreation equipment can be stored outside. • City Code Section 117-111 o Apply for a zoning permit for the constructed fence. o Please contact the Planning Division to schedule an inspection of the property.
