Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-141 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKERS <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Seasonal Public Maintenance Workers to perform <br />work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has selected three qualified candidates; and <br />WHEREAS, all candidates have passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends hiring three 2021 Seasonal Public Workers Maintenance <br />Workers. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-141 to hire the following employees on or near the dates <br />listed below: <br />Seasonal Maintenance Workers Gunnar Ledin, effective May 26, 2021 at $15.00 per <br />hour, Jacob Bebeau, effective June 7, 2021 at $13.00 per hour, and Nathan Hansen, <br />effective June 8, 2021 at $13.00 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of May, 2021. <br />
