WHEREAS, the bid of North Valley, of Nowthen, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$224,552.19 for the total bid for construction of the improvements in accordance with the <br />approved plans and specifications and advertisement for bids, is the lowest responsible bidder <br />and their bid shall be and hereby is accepted. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) The Mayor and City Administrator are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a <br />contract with said bidder for the construction of said improvements for and on behalf of <br />the City of Ramsey. <br /> <br />2) The City Administrator is hereby authorized to execute the proposal from Bolton & <br />Menk, Inc. to provide construction staking services for said improvements in a total not- <br />to-exceed amount of $4,680 for the project. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Howell, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 25th day of May, 2021. <br /> <br /> Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />City Clerk <br />Resolution #21-139 <br />Page 2 of 2 <br />
