Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-164 <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A PUBLIC WORKS STREETS MAINTENANCE <br />WORKER BACKFILLING A VACANT POSITION <br />WHEREAS, there is a current vacancy in the Public Works department; and <br />WHEREAS, an external recruitment process was conducted; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. William Bellefeuille has been selected as the top candidate for <br />the position; and <br />WHEREAS, staff have completed the necessary background checks and are <br />recommending that Mr. William Bellefeuille be hired as a full-time Public Works Parks <br />Maintenance Worker, effective on or near June 14, 2021 at $23.679 per hour; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. William Bellefeuille will be subject to a 6-month probationary <br />period; and <br />WHEREAS, Mr. William Bellefeuille will be subject to the terms of the <br />applicable labor agreement and the City's Personnel Policy. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-164 to hire Mr. William Bellefeuille as a full- <br />time Public Works Streets Maintenance Worker, effective on or near June 14, <br />2021, at $23.679 per hour, which is step 1 of the 2021 wage scale. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilmember , and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />
