CASE <br /> <br /> Receive Petition for Extension of Sewer and Water Service <br />By: Brian E. Olson, Assistant Director of Public Works/Principal City Engineer <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Staff received the attached petition for the extension of sewer and water on July 8, 2005. <br />The attached map indicates the location of the affected properties. The next step would be <br />to prepare a feasibility study outlining the costs, proposed assessments, schedule etc. <br />Once the feasibility study is prepared there would need to be a publi~ hearing scheduled <br />to determine if there is indeed support for the project. <br /> <br />Stall: recommends a motion receiving the attached petition and, after City Attorney <br />review as to form and content of the petition, order preparation of the feasibility study <br />considering the extension of urban services to those petitioning. <br /> <br />Committee Action: <br /> <br />Motim~ to recommend to the City Council that the attached petition be received and, after City <br />Attorney review as to form and content of the petition, order preparation of the feasibility study <br />considering the extension of urban services to those petitioning properties. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />Public Works Director/Fire Chief <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />PW: 7/19/05 <br /> <br />45 <br /> <br /> <br />
