Join us for Ramsey's 23rd annual Happy Days Fes- tival Saturday, September 11, across from Ramsey City Hall on Sunwood Drive. This community celebration, provides family -friendly events and entertainment. The fun begins Friday, September 10, with a movie in the park! Watch for details on our website and on Face - book. Then, on Saturday, begin the day with a bit of physi- cal activity! Register for the 5K and Youth Fun Run (for kiddos under 9) or the Family Bike Tour. Refuel with a cup ofjoe and a stack ofpancakes at the Kitchen Table. Afterwards, head out to the Happy Days site for a round of bean bags (pre -registration required), admire the clas- sic and electric vehicles featured in the annual car show, and check out the playful pups at the dog show! Delight in the flavors of a variety of food vendors — from Thai cuisine and favorite American fair foods like cheese curds and fried pickles, to delectable desserts like gourmet mini donuts, ice cream and more! Snap some photos of the kids as they bounce on the bungee trampoline and cruise down the inflatable slides. Join in the laughter as they play arcade games or have their face painted. And, of course, the fun continues when the parade floats coast down Sunwood Drive. Shop the expo booths, sample your favorite home- made chili at the returning chili cook -off -event, and behold the community talent show (pre -registration required). End the evening with a round of Bingo and a beer in hand, jamming to rock artist G.B. Leighton and enjoying a spectacular fireworks show. Then, on Sunday, September 12, the Ramsey Fire Re- lief Association will be hosting its annual 9/11 Memorial Golf Tournament. For more information contact Jason Sufka at mcpol44@gmail.com. The Happy Days Committee wants to thank po- lice, fire and public works employees for their planning efforts, for managing parking and traffic and for keeping the festival grounds safe and clean for all.
