Board Member Fetterley stated that she senses that there is some passion from the Board for this <br />item. <br /> <br />City Planner Anderson stated that if someone wants to submit an article within the next week, it <br />could be published in the July/August issue. He stated that originally the column was titled Focus <br />on the Environment and noted that name could continue, or it could be renamed. <br /> <br />Chairperson Covart confirmed the consensus of the Board to keep that title. <br /> <br />6. BOARD / STAFF INPUT <br /> <br /> June Meeting Date <br /> <br />st <br />City Planner Anderson stated that the June meeting is scheduled for June 21 and advised that staff <br />has a conflict and asked if the Board would be willing to reschedule that meeting. <br /> <br />th <br />It was the consensus of the Board to hold the June meeting on June 28. <br /> <br /> Recycling Event Recap <br /> <br />City Planner Anderson stated that the event was very well attended, with long lines and wait times. <br />He commented that most people were understanding. He noted that the new location worked well, <br />although there were a few pinch points at different stations within the site. He stated that there <br />was a Reserve Police Officer on site to assist with traffic direction. He stated that overall, the <br />event was a success and was very busy. He stated that they are hoping to make some tweaks for <br />the fall event and perhaps hold the event back at the Public Works Campus if construction is <br />completed in time. <br /> <br />7.
