Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #21-174 <br />RESOLUTION HIRING SEASONAL PUBLIC WORKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br />WHEREAS, annually the City employs Seasonal Public Maintenance Workers to perform <br />work in the Parks, Streets, and Utilities Divisions of Public Works; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff has selected a qualified candidate; and <br />WHEREAS, the candidate has passed the pre -employment screenings; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff recommends hiring a 2021 Seasonal Public Workers Maintenance <br />Worker. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-174 to hire the following employee on or near the date <br />listed below: <br />Seasonal Maintenance Worker Jeffrey Sibell, effective June 23, 2021 at $13.00 per hour. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br />Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this <br />the 22nd day of June, 2021. <br />Mayor <br />
