ORDINANCE #21-13 <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 105-142 (ADOPTION OF 2006 <br />INTERNATIONAL PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE), OF CHAPTER 10, ARTICLE <br />V (PROPERTY MAINTENANCE CODE), AND SECTION OF THE CITY CODE OF <br />RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br />SECTION 1. AUTHORITY <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br />SECTION 2. AMENDMENT TO CITY CODE SECTION 105-142 <br />The current City Code Section 105-142 is revised as follows (additions indicated by underline, <br />deletions indicated by strikethrough): <br />Sec. 105-142. — Adopted. <br />The 2f Q6 2021 International Property Maintenance Code, as published by the International <br />Code Council, Inc., is hereby adopted by reference. <br />State Law reference— Adoption by reference, Minn. Stats. § 471.62. <br />SECTION 4. EFFECTIVE DATE <br />This ordinance becomes effective 30 days after its passage and publication, subject to City Charter <br />Section 5.04. <br />SECTION 5. SUMMARY <br />The following official summary of Ordinance #21-13 has been approved by the City Council of <br />the City of Ramsey as clearly informing the public of the intent and effect of the Ordinance. <br />Ordinance #21-13 amends Section 105-142 to adopt current international building and property <br />maintenance standards in the City of Ramsey, while eliminating reference to the previous <br />International Property Maintenance Code. The 2021 International Property Maintenance Code is <br />the current building regulation standards in the City of Ramsey. <br />
