City Staff received a complaint of noxious vegetation and work on the deck without <br />a permit on the above premises. An inspection revealed the following violations of the Ramsey <br />City Code as listed below: <br />• City Code Section 30-3 — Property conditions constituting a public nuisance. <br />o (10) All grass, weeds, or noxious growths of vegetation upon public or private <br />property exceeding eight inches in height. <br />o (27) Any violation of section 117-355, relating to off-street parking regulations. <br />• City Code Section 105-24. - Permits, inspections and fees. <br />o Permits are required for work done to the deck and pool such as removing and <br />building structures. <br />• City Code Section 117-355 — Residential development off-street parking. <br />o (4) Residents shall be allowed to have one unlicensed, inoperable motor vehicle <br />that may be stored outdoors. This motor vehicle shall not be permitted to be <br />stored in the front yard or driveway. This motor vehicle must be stored in the side <br />or rear yard on a prepared surface and must be completely screened from adjacent <br />properties and right-of-way. This motor vehicle shall still be subject to the city's <br />public nuisance regulations. <br />You have 14 days from the date of this letter to address the following (or you will receive an <br />administrative citation of $75): <br />• City Code Section 30-3 — Property conditions constituting a public nuisance. <br />o Please mow the grass on the property. <br />o Vehicle needs to be parked ENTIRELY on approved surface, not on grass. <br />• City Code Section 105-24. - Permits, inspections and fees. <br />o Stop all work being done on the deck. <br />■ If you are planning on any work, please apply for a permit. <br />It is our mission to work together to responsibly grow our community, and to provide quality, cost-effective and efficient government <br />services. <br />
