<br />Councilmember Riley introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #21-165 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION TO HIRE A PUBLIC WORKS PARKS MAINTENANCE WORKER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is a Public Works Parks Maintenance Worker vacancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an internal and external recruitment process was conducted; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Zachary Bray has been selected as the top candidate for the position; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, staff have completed the necessary background checks and are <br />recommending that Mr. Zachary Bray be hired as a full-time Public Works Parks Maintenance <br />Worker, effective on or near July 7, 2021 at $23.679 per hour; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Zachary Bray will be subject to a 6-month probationary period; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Zachary Bray will be subject to the terms of the applicable labor <br />agreement and the City’s Personnel Policy. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) Motion to adopt resolution #21-165 to hire Mr. Zachary Bray as a full-time Public Works <br />Parks Maintenance Worker, effective on or near July 7, 2021, at $23.679 per hour, which <br />is step 1 of the 2021 wage scale. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Woestehoff, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br /> Mayor Kuzma <br /> Councilmember Riley <br /> Councilmember Woestehoff <br /> Councilmember Heineman <br /> Councilmember Howell <br /> Councilmember Musgrove <br /> Councilmember Specht <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br /> None <br /> <br />
